Accessing help for mental health problems from your home

If you feel that you need help with stress, anxiety, low mood or building resilience you may not realise that there are many options for receiving therapy.

Online therapy with SilverCloud could be right for you. With SilverCloud you can access your own personal therapy programme at any time of the day or night using your mobile phone, PC or tablet.

Amy O’Connor – Clinical Lead, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at DHC Talking Therapies recently spoke to Time and Leisure magazine about accessing help for common mental health problems.

Personal support

You shouldn’t feel that online therapy means doing everything alone or without professional support. When you sign up to online CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) you will be allocated a therapist who will be there to assist you throughout. They will guide you to the right modules depending on your needs, share online tasks with you and help you progress with feedback and advice.

“I was extremely impressed by the quick response and the support I received. Thank you”
