Coronavirus (COVID-19) – information update

Updated: 19 July 2021

Although COVID-19 restrictions are ending from Monday 19 July, Public Health England guidance for healthcare settings will remain in place. All staff and patients will be expected to continue to wear a face covering and maintain social distancing. This will help reduce the risk of infection for those working in our services and those who need our care.

We are providing our full range of therapies via telephone/video consultations. Limited face to face appointments are being offered following initial assessment. We have made some changes to face to face therapy sessions including the use of PPE. An information sheet will be provided in advance of your appointment. These new measures follow NHS guidance and have been put in place to reduce the risk of infection.

If you have any questions about your appointment, please call us on 01483 906392, email iapt.dhc@nhs.net or talk to your therapist during your next phone/video appointment.
