Face-to-face event for aspiring CBT therapists

DHC Talking Therapies are excited to be hosting a face-to-face event for anyone aspiring to be a CBT therapist.

It’s an opportunity to:

  • Find out more about a career in Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT).
  • Learn about DHC and how we support our trainees.
  • Find out what a typical week looks like and get an overview of the training.
  • Ask any questions to help you feel prepared for application and the training year.

We encourage you to join us if you are considering a career in Talking Therapies and looking to do the Level 2 CBT training with DHC and Surrey University starting in September 2023.

To train in CBT, your background should include working in health or social care and a degree or equivalent level of academic achievement. More information can be found on the BABCP website. If you do not meet the entry requirements, or want to consider a different role in Talking Therapies, please do get in touch.

We look forward to meeting you.

Where: Medwyn Surgery, Dorking, RH4 1SD
When: Tuesday 18th April
Time: 6pm – 7.30pm
Register to join the event: Tia.arberry@nhs.net
