Overview, Signs, Symptoms & Treatments

There are many issues that people with CFS/ME have to deal with. Constant feelings of exhaustion will impact on your everyday activities, which in turn can lead to feelings of low mood. Low mood often causes a person to feel tired and an unhelpful spiral of fatigue is common.

Common symptoms of low mood and anxiety include having trouble thinking clearly, seeing only the negative, feeling unable to cope or guilty about not coping, feeling lonely and isolated, change in appetite and/or sleep, unusually irritable or tearful.

There is a strong link between emotional well-being and general good health. Improving one will improve the other.
