New Talking Therapies service at Medwyn Centre, Dorking

DHC Talking Therapies are opening a new therapy suite at the Medwyn Centre, Dorking

Talking therapy is for anyone who is going through a bad time or has emotional problems. The specialist team at DHC includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapists (CBT) and Wellbeing Practitioners who are trained to help people with common mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias or stress.
DHC Talking Therapies are available on the NHS. You can refer yourself directly or ask your GP to refer you.

“Awareness of mental health issues is improving and attitudes are changing. It’s important that we continue to expand our locations across Surrey to make it possible for more people to access the right treatment. Our talking therapies come in different forms, but they all have a similar aim: to help people feel better.”

Amy O’Connor, Lead Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
