A significant event or living with a long-term physical health problem can trigger symptoms of stress, anxiety or depression. It is common for challenges such as redundancy, retirement, grief, the breakdown of a relationship or pregnancy to affect our emotional well-being.
You may notice changes in the way you think, your sleep may be disturbed or you may start to withdraw from life and avoid situations that are difficult to manage.
It is important to reach out for support at times like this. Your family and friends may be able to help but you may also benefit from professional support.
Our trained therapists can offer you a supportive and confidential space to process these life events and move forwards.
CBT and CfD can be very effective when you are going through a life event and we can deliver this to you in a range of methods that fit your individual needs and lifestyle.
With over 20 locations across Surrey you will be able to see a therapist close to you.
Access therapy from the convenience of your own location and working at your own pace.
CBT can also be delivered to you via phone or Skype if this would work best for you.
Our NHS service is free and available throughout Surrey for people 17+ who are registered with a Surrey GP.
You can ask your GP to refer you or you can choose to refer yourself and you can expect complete confidentiality.
