Therapist-guided audio exercise: Grounding Technique

DHC Talking Therapies provide special resources to clients who are receiving support from our service.

These resources are available during therapy and for up to one year after sessions have finished so that people can refer back to a range of useful guidance and self-help tools. All resources are accessible via login on our website.

We have recently introduced therapist-guided audio exercises where one of our therapists focuses on relaxation techniques, mindfulness or meditation.

In this audio, Stuart Olive guides us through the 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding technique which can help when worries are becoming excessive or symptoms of anxiety are increasing.
