Virtual event for aspiring CBT Therapists

DHC Talking Therapies are excited to be hosting a virtual event for anyone aspiring to be a CBT therapist.

Our virtual event is a chance to get an insight into working and training as a CBT Therapist with DHC Talking Therapies.

It’s an opportunity to:

  • Find out more about a career in Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT)
  • Learn about DHC and how we support our trainees
  • Find out what a typical week looks like get an overview of the training
  • Ask any questions to help you feel prepared for application and the training year.

We encourage you to join us if you are considering a career in Talking Therapies and looking to do the Level 2 CBT training with DHC and Surrey University starting in September 2023. 

To train in CBT, your background should include working health or social care and a degree or equivalent level of academic achievement. More information can be found on the BABCP website. If you do not meet the entry requirements, or want to consider a different role in Talking Therapies, please do get in touch.

About DHC Talking Therapies

Talking Therapies are here to help when life gets too tough.

We provide a range of therapies including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Computer-based CBT to people over 17 and registered with a Surrey GP.

You can refer yourself for these services without seeing your GP first.
