Why not make good mental health your New Year’s resolution?

It’s that time of year when we are all busy making resolutions, eat healthily, go to the gym, cut down on drinking…

We want to clear out the Christmas decorations and think about a fresh new start so why don’t more of us consider making our mental health a priority?

All of us would benefit from simple techniques such as mindfulness if we want to lower our stress levels but what about when you feel life has become too tough? DHC Talking Therapies offer a range of therapies for anxiety, depression, stress and more. You can choose from over 30 locations in Surrey or you can opt for online treatment via our SilverCloud platform.

Make a positive change that will last

Many of our clients undertake Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as it can be a very effective treatment for many common mental health problems. CBT uses a wide range of techniques, tailored to your specific needs, to help you make long-term changes to your thinking and behaviour and allow you to break free of negative habits.

This therapy can also be delivered via an online platform called SilverCloud which allows you the freedom to decide when you access your therapy – perfect for those with busy lives.

“This experience has been life changing for me. From the moment I referred, I was offered assessment and support quickly and felt respected and listened to at all times. I feel that my course of therapy was tailored specifically to me and my needs. My therapist has been incredible, respectful, empowered me, supported me and I can’t thank her enough. I feel I have got myself back.”
